• This Fluval 106/107 206/207 Canister Filter Maintenance Kit PLUS Bundle includes six items: Inland Seas Super Lube Silicone Lube, 1cc; Fluval 106/107/206/207 Filter Replacement Quick-Clear Water Polishing Pad, 3-Pack; Fluval 106/107/206/207 Filter Replacement Ammonia Remover Pads, 3-Pack; Fluval 106/107/206/207 Filter Replacement Phosphate Remover Pads, 3-Pack; Fluval 106/107/206/207 Filter Replacement Nitrite Remover Pads, 3-Pack; and Fluval Carbon, 3 X 100 Gram Packs.
• Fluval recommends you replace your Quick-Clear Water Polishing Pad & Carbon every month. We include three of the Quick-Clear and three of the Carbon (enough for three monthly changes). They also recommend you clean and lubricate the Motor Head Gasket. The Inland Seas Super Lube Silicone Lube, 1cc, is the perfect lubricant for the Gasket. There is enough Lube for three months.
• The Ammonia, Phosphate & Nitrite Remover Pads are optional. If you're using these pads they should be replaced every month as well.
• The Quick-Clear is specifically designed to fit the Fluval 106/107/206/207 Canister Filters. These thick, ultra-fine polyester water polishing pads effectively trap micro particles and debris, leaving your aquarium crystal clear. They are so fine that they can’t be washed clean. Fluval recommends you replace them every month. THREE are included.
• Fluval Carbon is a premium, low-ash and highly porous carbon that is highly effective at removing heavy metals, odors, discolorations, organic contaminants and pollutants from aquarium water. After one month the carbon will be so clogged with contaminants it will be ineffective and need to be replaced monthly. THREE 100 gram packs are included.
